Outperforming opponent 4-1 in donations from everyday Ohioans
COLUMBUS– Kathleen Clyde’s (D-Kent) campaign for Secretary of State today announced it has raised nearly $2.5 million from more than 14,000 individual donations. The campaign boasts a four-to-one advantage over their opponent in donations from Ohioans.
“Ohioans see that Frank LaRose is more of the same, just another politician controlled by special interests and wealthy campaign donors. They want change,” said campaign manager Lauren Durham. “Kathleen Clyde is running to restore accountability and offer the kind of leadership that puts people first. Going into the final month of this campaign, we’re building momentum because everyday Ohioans are excited for the change Kathleen will bring to Columbus.”
The Clyde campaign announced more than $321,000 raised this reporting period and has raised more than any Democratic Secretary of State candidate in Ohio history.
